Which facial is right for me? +
That depends on your skin type and goals. Becci will assess your skin during a free consultation and recommend the most suitable treatment. If you're new to facials, the Basic Glow is a great starting point. For more targeted concerns like congestion or uneven tone, the Hydrofacial or BioRePeel are popular choices.
What is dermaplaning? +
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to gently remove the top layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair (vellus hair / "peach fuzz"). It leaves the skin incredibly smooth, allows skincare products to absorb more effectively, and creates a flawless base for makeup. Available as a £15 add-on to any facial.
Is there downtime after a facial? +
Most facials have little to no downtime. The Basic Glow and Hydrofacial are zero-downtime treatments. Chemical peels like BioRePeel and the Clinicare Peel may cause some light redness or flaking in the days following treatment, which settles within 24–72 hours. Becci provides full aftercare advice.
How often should I have a facial? +
For general skin maintenance, once every 4–6 weeks is ideal. For more targeted treatment (such as a course of chemical peels), Becci will recommend a schedule tailored to your skin's needs and how it responds.
Can facials help with acne or acne scarring? +
Yes — treatments like the Hydrofacial, BioRePeel and chemical peels can significantly improve congestion, active breakouts and post-acne scarring over a course of treatments. Becci will assess your skin and recommend the best approach for you. Microneedling is also available for more established scarring.
