How much does lip filler cost?
At The Face Lab, lip filler is £70 for 0.5ml and £110 for 1ml. A pixie tip lift is £60 and dissolving existing lip filler is £100. Prices are the same at the Lytham St Annes and Leigh studios and include a free consultation with Becci, an NMC registered nurse.
Where can I get lip filler near me?
The Face Lab has two private studios. The Lytham St Annes studio (FY8 1BQ) is convenient for St Annes, Blackpool, Kirkham, Preston and the wider Fylde Coast. The Leigh studio (WN7 2EH) is convenient for Wigan, Bolton, Warrington and Greater Manchester. Both are treated by Becci personally, and prices are the same at each.
How long does lip filler last?
Lip filler typically lasts 6–12 months. The duration depends on the product, your metabolism and lifestyle factors. Becci uses premium hyaluronic acid fillers that dissolve naturally over time, so top-up treatments help maintain your results.
Will it hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimise any discomfort. The lips can be more sensitive than other areas, but most clients find it very manageable. The full treatment takes around 30 minutes including numbing time.
How much filler do I need?
For a first treatment or a subtle enhancement, 0.5ml is often the perfect starting point. For more noticeable volume or if you've had filler before, 1ml is the most popular choice. Becci will assess your lip shape and discuss your goals during your free consultation before recommending an amount.
Will my lips look natural?
Yes, Becci's philosophy is enhancement, not transformation. She always errs on the conservative side, especially for first-time clients. The goal is for people to notice you look great, not to guess you've had something done. You can always book a top-up if you want more after settling.
Can lip filler be dissolved?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Becci offers a dissolving service at £100. This can be done on filler placed by Becci or by another practitioner. It's one of the key safety benefits of hyaluronic acid over permanent fillers.
Is there any downtime?
Some swelling and possible light bruising is normal immediately after lip filler and typically settles within 3–7 days. Becci will advise you on aftercare to help minimise this. Most clients return to normal activities straight away, though Becci recommends avoiding exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
